The scope of research of this field ranges from general methodological issues to detailed tasks connected with particular designing aspects and CAD/CAM applications. At the Department of Fundamentals of Machinery Design of the Silesian University of Technology tasks aiming at finding new solutions in the scope of both methodology of Knowledge Based Engineering and given CAD/CAM applications, CATIA in particular are realised. This web site aims at presenting the results of some projects as well obtaining feedback about the results. We would like to invite you to share your experience in this field and pass on the solutions to the wider group of audience. The results are presented in the section Projects and software can be downloaded from the section Software. It is to be developed. We would like to invite everybody who is interested to cooperation and thank you in advance for all your comments.
